Nordic Knot is honored to be selected as one of four recipients of the inaugural BizMaker Grant Program from the INCspire Education Foundation, a 501c-3 subsidiary of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. We also would like to congratulate our fellow grant recipients!
Launched in 2021, the BizMaker Grant Program underscores INCspire's steadfast commitment to nurturing inclusive entrepreneurship and cultivating robust economic opportunities for businesses dedicated to driving job creation and revenue generation within Fairfax County. The selection process rigorously evaluated applications based on criteria such as product or service innovation, organizational stability, and demonstrable community impact. Notably, the chosen awardees will gain access to the prestigious INCspire Mentorship Program, a valuable resource that provides advisory sessions with seasoned professional service providers, aimed at addressing growth prospects.
The four grant winners — Nordic Knot, Reset180, The Harraseeket Foundation, and the CORE Foundation — will be publicly acknowledged at the Greater Reston Chamber’s September 26 Network Night at the YMCA Fairfax County Reston.

We’re listed as one of the 29 Best Things to DO in DC this weekend and next week by the Washington Post! That’s right! Reston Cardboard Boat Regatta at Lake Anne Village Center is a wacky and wonderful local tradition, the Reston Cardboard Boat Regatta requires competitors to build a viable boat using nothing but cardboard, tape, and optional water sealer or paint, which is rowed from the dock at Lake Anne Village Center to a buoy and back. There are often plenty of spills and thrills during the race heats. Cheer on your favorites while listening to the Crush Funk Brass Band and enjoy food and drink from waterfront restaurants and bars, including the Lake Anne Brew House and the Nordic Knot pretzel shop. Noon to 4 p.m.; races begin at 2 p.m. Free.

Your Nordic Knot pretzels are fully baked and ready to eat straight out of the bag, but we suggest a little extra prep and a few minutes in the oven for best taste and presentation.
Not ready to indulge right away? Wrap in plastic and store on the countertop for up to 48 hours, or refrigerate or freeze to extend freshness and for future enjoyment! We are 100% preservative free at Nordic-Knot.
If you've ordered unsalted pretzels, start with quick brush of melted butter, olive oil, water or your favorite beer to moisten the crust, then sprinkle with the included pretzel salt or your favorite maldon flake, kosher, rock sea salt or other seasoning, or top with your favorite shredded cheese!
Preheat your oven to either 350 convection or 400 degrees (subtract 50 degrees if reheating pretzels from frozen).
