Someone reminded me the other day (you know who you are, I’m still mad) that I’m almost a decade out from being 16. That sucks, because I wish more adults got cute cakes like this! This Tangled themed biscoff cake is the perfect sweet treat to ring in a sweet sixteen!

The sweetest grandmother asked for a cake for her little granddaughter, and all I have to say is can y’all PLEASE order more cakes like this? I mean look how cute the little butterflies are 😭 I’m absolutely honored to be part of this baby girls first birthday, this cake is just adorable I can’t get over it.

Did I know what a golden birthday was before making this cake? No I did not. Do I absolutely want to do this for my own when it comes? You bet I do. This adorable cake was a last minute order that I’m SO glad I took. I’m a simple girl, I like cute things, and this is just so so cute! Cardamom Cupcakes is back from pastry training and ready to take on all the challenges!!

So a bit of a funny story; last week, I got a random call from a Florida number, who turned out to be one of the sweetest clients I’ve ever had. She asked me if she would be able to place an order and send a carrot cake to her daughter living in the area, saying it was her daughter’s favorite cake. I was committed to NOT taking any orders last week since I’m traveling soon and had/have a lot to get done before then, but she was so nice I just couldn’t say no. I mentioned it to her daughter when I delivered it, and immediately her daughter just goes “carrot cake is MY MOMS FAVORITE!!!” I had no clue how to respond, but mom made sure that she’d definitely be part of her daughter’s birthday!

Y’all have no idea how much I’ve been dying for someone to ask me to make this cake. So, of course I had to jump on the opportunity. This magical birthday cake is a chocolate cake with a chocolate filling, and I’m extremely jealous of the recipient 😂

Do y’all remember that one scene from Matilda? The original Matilda. That one scene with the chocolate cake? This cake is what I imagine that cake would taste like. It’s rich, moist, fluffy, and I could eat it at any given moment.

Hey y’all, we’re ringing in 2024 with a New Year’s Eve pop up market in Vienna! You can enjoy live music, raffles, and most importantly, our cupcakes and chai this Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm at the Vienna New Year’s Eve celebration at the Cedar Park shopping center!! Hope to see y’all there!
