We are overwhelmed by how much y’all love the Beach Holiday so before we even say anything further… the Beach Holiday is staying on the menu all year-round.

HOWEVER, we’ve developed an autumnal version with the Salted Maple Espresso with Salted Maple Cold Foam 🍁

Available now in Tennessee and very soon in Nevada.

A little Franklin update we wish we weren’t sharing.

As the bridge replacement begins, Perenn Franklin is officially losing our front and side patio seating for the next 2 to 3 years. We are really, really hoping it ends up being closer to 1 to 2.

It was devastating news to receive after only being open a year. Those patios make up nearly half of our seating, and losing them for this long is going to have a very real impact on our little restaurant.

But we’re adapting.

We’ve created additional seating along the back of the building by the river, where you can grab food to go and stay awhile. We’re also converting our covered back patio to counter-service dining. You’ll order inside, grab your number, walk around the building, and we’ll bring your food out to you.

We’re going to do everything we can to keep Perenn Franklin feeling like Perenn throughout all of this.

And we could really use you.

Construction is going to be a long road, and continuing to choose Perenn, meeting a friend for breakfast, grabbing lunch, picking up a loaf of bread or simply telling someone we’re still open means more than you probably realize.

We’re here. We’re open. And there’s still a beautiful place to sit by the river.

For the past six years, Darin Darin | Murals | Letters has been hand painting the windows at Perenn. In 2024, when we opened our Nevada grocery, Anton from Meadow had the idea to have Darin hand paint our espresso machine. We loved it so much that it quickly became “our thing.”

Since then, Darin has painted the machines at Franklin and Berry Hill, and now he’s working on number four for Perenn Grocery in WeHo.

These are the stories that keep us motivated and inspired.

Working with talented people over and over again, building relationships over the years, and finding new ways to bring their craft into what we’re creating is truly one of the greatest highlights of our job.

It’s also been incredible to work with La Marzocco La Marzocco USA and have their support in making each of these machines completely our own.

We can’t wait for you to see this one when Perenn Grocery opens in Here In Wedgewood Houston this October.
