GIANT METAL PEAR ART. Have yall seen this? Our owner has an artistic side and welded this from-scratch 7ft metal pear that will be the centerpiece of our summer parades! We decided to get involved and make a parade float:)

But for real this pear is an incredible sculpture. (Can purchase for $450,000)

"The Pear" will be on display at our Orem location year round. Come check it out, take a pic and get some kolaches.

Remember the carefree summers growing up filled with backyard hose fights, sticky fingers from popsicles, and packing up the car for road trips when all we had were maps, cds, and colored pencils?

We miss that. I think we all do.

As kids, our summers were all about those simple pleasures that brought joy into our lives. We grew up having kolaches almost every day in the summer like they were a simple bowl of cereal. To us, nothing brings back that nostalgic, carefree feeling quite like a box of fresh kolaches from The Kolache Place.

They are proof that the best things in life are simple, delicious, and meant to be shared.

This fan favorite has become a bit of a Mother’s Day tradition around here. Come enjoy this special kolache filled with our house made maple filling and fruit fillings topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar all baked with a cinnamon sugar egg wash.

Hruska’s Kolaches is officially THE KOLACHE PLACE!
Y’all will be seeing our signs and paper goods all switch over the next couple weeks to our new name!

For the past 12 years, many in our community have referred to us simply as “the kolache place”, and we see that as something incredibly positive. It speaks to the identity we’ve built together.

When we first started, we used our last name as a symbol of personal accountability and pride in what we were creating. As we’ve grown, both as a business and as a family, we’ve felt it was the right time to create a little more privacy while also positioning ourselves for future growth. With expansion in mind, we made the decision to rebrand so that Hruska’s Kolaches can grow beyond a single family name and move into the future while still honoring our roots and holding true to our recipies, reputation and quality.

We’re keeping the pear, and we’re very excited to keep serving the community with our new name:

Our individual sized kolache king cakes are made with our cinnamon spread, nutmeg, golden raisins, pecans and cream cheese all topped with Mardis Gras colored sugar sprinkles!
