All of my bakery products are made fresh. I offer delivery to those who live on Grandview Hill in Provo. I advertise what I will be baking for the week, usually on Monday. I make different types of baked goods each week. I make soft pretzels, yeast breads, rolls, quick breads and cookies. You can pick-up your baked goods between 4:00-7:00 pm on the day they are made. I am happy to deliver to those
living on Grandview Hill in Provo. If you do not live on Grandview, you will need to pick your baked goods up. I do not deliver to other areas. I accept cash, venmo (venmo -Jessop-1) or you can pay with Facebook pay. I ask for pre-payment from all new customers. If you place an order and are not able to pick it up, I still ask for half payment. Unfortunately, I am not able to sell day old products and this helps pay for my time and ingredients. Some people have voiced some concern about whether it is legal for me to run a home bakery. I have done a lot of research on this subject and want to dispel any concerns. The Home Consumption and Food Act was passed by the state of Utah in 2018 which allows me to sell baked goods out of my home kitchen, without having a food handlers permit, without state or local inspection, and without being a commercial kitchen. Here is the link if you would like to read more about it. https://le.utah.gov/~2018/bills/static/HB0181.html
All of the baked goods I sell are labeled stating that they were prepared without state and local inspection and are not for resale. My goodies are for home consumption only and I do not sell to retail businesses. I am very concerned that my kitchen is clean while I am baking and that my baked goods are of the best quality. My business is registered with the state of Utah and I pay sales tax on everything I sell. I have been baking for over 20 years and do so because I enjoy it. I believe that home baked goodies bring people happiness and appreciate all those who support my business.
