This makes me so sad! At this point, I’ve baked thousands of cheesecakes, but this is only the third or fourth time this has happened! I’ll just clean it up and move on and hope for a better day tomorrow!

Breez‑In Associates is a family business built on vision, hard work, and heart. Founder David Bogese, Sr. launched the Breez In brand in 1984 with a simple but powerful belief: if you offer good food in a clean, welcoming gas station environment, people will appreciate the option. He especially wanted to create a place where "a working woman could comfortably stop and pick up dinner for her family".
Fast forward to today, and the legacy continues with David Bogese, Jr. leading the Breez In locations. David Jr.’s focus is on making Breez In a true food destination—offering fresh grab‑and‑go options, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
Father and son credit much of their success to their willingness to listen, learn, and take advice from others who’ve walked the path before them. They also believe strongly in supporting fellow entrepreneurs, regularly giving opportunities to local businesses like Crumbs Cheesecakes and Crows nest cookies.
Community involvement is equally important to the Bogese family. Breez In proudly supports organizations such as the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation, James House, and many others that strengthen the region they call home.
Their advice to new business owners? Start with a solid business plan, take time to research your market before expanding, and invest in your people. Breez In’s commitment to their team shows—one kitchen employee on Route 10 has been with the company for over 30 years. Employees are treated like family, with fairness and respect across the board.
