A NEW LOOK FOR AN OLD PHILLY BAKERY 💚

After more than 25 years, it was finally time to give the Haegele’s Bakery sign a fresh new look! 👀

A huge thank you to fellow Philadelphia business Signarama for bringing it to life. What makes it even more special is that they’re the same company that made our previous sign more than two decades ago. Pretty neat to have them back again all these years later!

We wanted something fresh and bright while still keeping the classic Haegele’s look and logo that has welcomed generations of customers through our doors. The old sign served us well for 25+ years, and we’re pretty excited to see this one hanging over the sidewalk for the years ahead 💚

96 YEARS… 96 COATS OF PAINT! 🎨🧹

Here’s a Haegele’s tradition we’ve never shared before!

Every year since the beginning, we set aside a weekend to completely empty out the bakery for our annual “Painting Weekend”. Every piece of equipment gets moved, the walls are scrubbed from top to bottom, and the bakery gets a fresh coat of paint before everything is cleaned up and moved back into place.

That means this weekend marks the 96th coat of paint inside Haegele’s Bakery! 🤯 It’s a lot of work, a lot of moving, and usually a lot of laughs but it’s one of those traditions that has helped keep this little bakery going since 1930. 💚

Here’s to a fresh coat of paint and another year of baking! 🍰🍩🍞

Ok folks… our T-shirts have been seen on the East Coast, on the West Coast, and in between including Cannstatter’s Volkfest Labor Day event and in our store, just because it’s “your favorite shirt”. Names were entered in a raffle and Matt Walsh is the winner of our $100.00 gift certificate. So give us a call. The summer challenge is over but you can still wear our shirt! Since Football season is here and Labor Day is over, it’s safe to say good-bye to summer. Two months ago we gave our customers a challenge to wear a Haegele’s Bakery t-shirt on your summer travels and send us a picture for a chance to win $100.00 gift certificate. Hello folks… from all the pictures this week, you can see we are back from vacation and in full Peach Cake season. What you haven’t seen is this “little peach”, Amelia Grace, born 7/25/26. She decided to enter our world 2 weeks early, adding to a very exciting beach week for the family. All are well, Lily is a very proud big sister, and are hearts are all full! Like the 2 generations before me I am known as “MomMom”, and it is the best title to hold!
