Hey bakery besties, your favorite baker is hanging up the apron and trading the oven mitts for some sunshine! 🕶️

Sweet P’s Bakery will be COMPLETELY CLOSED from July 1st through July 10th so our family can unplug, recharge, and soak up some summer fun. 🌊

What this means for you:
🙅‍♀️ No Custom Orders: We will not be accepting any custom order requests for dates during this window.

🗓️ Plan Ahead: If you have an early July birthday, anniversary, or backyard BBQ that absolutely requires sweet treats, be sure to get your inquiries in ASAP before our calendar completely fills up!

I will be back in the kitchen on July 11th, ready to bake the world a better place (and bursting with fresh inspiration). 🧑‍🍳🥖

Donut look at me, I’m just here for the glaze! 🍩👀

Happy National Donut Day! While my kitchen is usually filled with cookies and sourdough, today I am strictly an enthusiastic consumer of Kansas City’s finest fried dough.

Here's a quick cheat sheet of some amazing spots right in our backyard to get your fix this morning:

🍩KC Fresh Donuts: Right by Barry Road and I-29 or the Creekside location. Their glazed yeast donuts are literally like biting into air.

🍩Ray’s Donuts: Over on Vivion Road. A total Northland hidden gem family shop with a massive variety.

🍩Donut King: An absolute classic in North KC on Armour Road. Bonus: they have a drive-thru and a legendary selection (hello, Sea Salt Caramel Old Fashioned!).

🍩Mochinut: Located over in Zona Rosa if you want to switch things up with some incredible chewy mochi donuts.

🍩Donutology & Lamar's: If you are heading down across the river today, these KC mainstays never miss.
