This is SO COOL!

I had the opportunity to chat with KSHB 41 about Parkville being named one of the TOP 25 finalists in Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Towns contest!

If you’ve ever spent Christmas in Downtown Parkville, then you already know…this place is something special. The lights, the decorated storefronts, Christmas on the River, our amazing small businesses and, most importantly, this COMMUNITY. ❤️

And now we have a chance to show the rest of the country just how special Parkville really is!

If Parkville wins, we could have a HALLMARK MOVIE filmed right here in our town! 🎬🎄

And yes…I told them Hallmark needs to come right inside The Baker’s Table and buy something. 😂😂 I mean, obviously.

I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M MISSING THIS CONCERT!! 😩

Santana AND The Doobie Brothers are in Riverside tonight, and listen… I’m a little jealous that my baked goods have better plans than I do. 😂

Growing up, I just KNEW Michael McDonald was Black. You couldn’t tell me otherwise! 😂 That voice?! That SOUL?! Sir!! I eventually learned the truth, but one thing is for sure — that man has SOUL for days!

So while I won’t be at Morton Amphitheater singing along tonight, a little piece of The Baker’s Table will be there…

Okay…this one was a customer request and I HAD to share it!

Our New York-Style Turtle Cheesecake starts with a buttery graham cracker crust layered with our made-from-scratch caramel, pecans and chocolate ganache. Then we fill it with our creamy cheesecake filling and top it with MORE caramel, chocolate, pecans and just a kiss of Maldon sea salt.

Y’all…this one is GOOD!

🎉 ONE YEAR!!! 🎉

Today officially marks ONE YEAR since we opened the doors to The Baker’s Table! 🥹❤️

What a year it has been.

When we opened our little bakery in Downtown Parkville, we hoped people would walk through our doors, enjoy what we created, and maybe tell a friend or two. What we received was so much more.

Parkville and Kansas City — you embraced us. You supported us. You told your friends about us. You shared our posts, placed orders, stood in line, celebrated your special moments with us, and kept coming back. And because of YOU, The Baker’s Table has quickly become a favorite little spot for so many.

And y’all have been EATING! 😂

In our first year, we sold…

🥐 4,654 CINNAMON ROLLS
🍪 3,534 COOKIES
🥣 1,088 BISCUITS & GRAVY

WOW!!! 🤯

And that doesn’t even include all the sourdough, cheesecakes, scones, cakes, pastries and everything else that has come out of our ovens!

But there is one person I especially have to thank — my husband. ❤️

This man goes to work…and then comes to work AGAIN beside me at the bakery. 😂 He makes deliveries, runs to the store, picks up supplies, carries things, fixes things, and brings me all the things I forgot at home…which happens A LOT. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

He has been beside me through the long days, early mornings, late nights, sold-out Saturdays, crazy weeks and everything in between. The Baker’s Table would not be what it is today without him, and I certainly couldn’t have done this first year without him. ❤️

To our customers, our community, our friends, our family, our team and everyone who has supported this little bakery in any way — THANK YOU.

Thank you for allowing me to do what I love. Thank you for loving the things we create. And thank you for making room for The Baker’s Table in this wonderful community.
