Happy Monday everyone!!

Sips and Savories, your neighborhood Tea Party experts will be delivering their “Tea To Go” this coming Saturday, September 5th. Get a little taste of England straight to your door!!

Each Tea To Go is $25 and consists of two (2) freshly baked classic English tea scones with strawberry jam, lemon curd and our homemade clotted cream. It also has high tea size desserts, and four (4) savory sandwiches to enjoy accompanied by three (3) envelopes of authentic English tea to make at home. All beautifully wrapped and ready to go!

Cut off date will be Thursday, September 3rd, and deliveries will be within the Latitudes Margaritaville community only.

Our Nowhere To Wear This - Tea Party was a great success!!! 50 beautiful faces joined us for an afternoon of tea history, etiquette, and how did Sips and Savories get started, all accompanied by delicious tea, savory food, and great conversation while making new friends. We had a surprise birthday celebration for Finley Poskarbiewicz, and eight (8) winners got to take home a beautiful tea cup and saucer after finding the hidden silver spoon under their seats.

We’ve have been asked over and over if we will be hosting another one soon, and the answer is yes. We are planning our Fall parties for the month of October. Rather than a large one (the theater will not be available), we will host several smaller ones with groups of 6-12 people and our menu will be perfect to start one of the most beautiful seasons of the year 🍁.

The Big Tea Party in Latitudes Margaritaville, PCB is fast approaching and almost sold out. Just five (5) more chairs available!!

The menu will be amazing, starting with an array of sandwiches like chicken salad on croissant, egg salad on brioche, and cucumber wrapped boursin. Scones such as peach and apricots, dark chocolate and kahlua, and raspberry with rose water and white chocolate. Macaroons, Jaffa cakes, roasted strawberry mousse with gingersnaps and of course, Jackie’s famous shortbread cookies!!

If you are one of our Margaritaville followers, get your ticket via the neighborhood dashboard. If you are an “outsider” and would like to partake in this tea party, send me a message and I can work it out for you.

Don’t forget to wear that one outfit in your closet you’ve been dying to wear but have had nowhere to do so!!!

PÃO DE MEL (BRAZILIAN HONEY CAKE) - Made today for a book club reading The Midnight Library. The cake is mentioned several times throughout the story - A spiced cake made with coffee and honey, filled with dulce de leche, and covered in chocolate ganache. Delicious!

Back to back surprise birthday parties this weekend!! First Linda celebrating her 56, and then Patricia her 86. Both sweet and special ladies. What a wonderful honor to make their day special.

What’s next?? Another surprise tea party tomorrow!! This time our spacial lady will be turning 90 years young 🩷🥰. Pictures will be posted soon!!
