THE RUMOR IS TRUE.

Gabino’s is heading to the south side of town.

Location 3 is officially coming to Old Town La Quinta — one of the most beautiful spots in the desert, and we’re beyond excited to be part of it.

From our pop-up days, to that tiny 300 sq ft window in the back alley, to downtown Indio, to now opening our third location, this journey has been unreal.

No shortcuts. Just long days, late nights, and a community that believed in us from the start.

To our day ones , thank you. Every time you pulled up, every repost, every word of mouth built this. We don’t take it lightly.

We’re grateful. We’re hungry. And we’re ready to bring Gabino’s South to life.

As a Latino-owned business, our hearts are heavy.

We stand with our Latino community during this incredibly difficult time. What’s happening across the country has deeply affected so many families, including our own, and we are holding space for that pain.

This decision wasn’t made lightly. After a lot of reflection, we felt that staying open was the best way for us to support our team and provide them with their hours, stability, and a sense of normalcy.

At the same time, we fully respect and support any businesses or employees who chose to sit out today. Everyone must do what feels right for them, their families, and their safety, and we stand in solidarity with those choices as well.

We were raised to work hard, to show up for one another, and to lead with compassion. That’s what we’re trying to do today.

Our doors remain open as a safe and welcoming space — a place where people of every background, belief, and walk of life are treated with respect and care. We believe in loving our neighbors and treating others the way we hope to be treated.
