Cherry's Famous Rugelach Fourth generation family recipe. Brooklyn Born Mark Cherry owned and operated a very successful bakery in South Florida for approx 30 years.

About 10 years ago he sold it, retired and moved to Palm Springs. Last year he made some Rugelah for the family. They freaked out, told him he needed to do the world a favor, come out of retirement and start making the Rugelah again. After some arm-twisting and a cottage license, he started up again and the Rugelah was flying off the proverbial shelves in the local Palm Springs Farmers Market. Now he and his family have expanded to the LA Farmers Markets and have been greeted with open arms. His family Jokes that Mark is the “Heisenberg” of Rugelah and the time is right to bring this 4th generation family recipe to the forefront of mainstream artisan food. The current menu is chocolate, cinnamon nut, apricot, raspberry, as well as gluten free apricot and raspberry. Stop by the markets for some free samples and get hooked. Move over cupcakes, Rugelah is the new hotness.
