Happy National Dessert Day! 🍰🤎

Little Batter won't have any desserts available today, but we know some delicious local businesses who do!🥰 So go treat yourself to something sweet and show some love to our local small businesses!

Not every bake turns out as planned, and today was a learning experience for Giancarlo.

While making his Pumpkin Biscoff Cakes, he had an issue with his scale and accidentally added too much flour. He didn't realize how much it would affect the flavor until the cakes were finished.

The cakes still have a good texture, and the cream cheese frosting turned out delicious, but the cakes themselves are much milder in flavor than his usual Pumpkin Biscoff Cakes.

Because they didn't turn out to his usual standard, he'll be offering this batch for $2 each instead of the regular $5.

This is Giancarlo's first big baking mistake, and although he's disappointed, he understands that mistakes are part of learning and getting better. He's learned how important it is to check his equipment before every bake.

We absolutely loved how everything turned out! Thank you Delia Ramirez for making his apron and personalized shirts. He's ready to put them to use for this weekend's baking!

Speaking of baking... preorders are still open! Cinnamon roll spots are already full, but he's still taking orders for his other treats. Thank you!

He’s so grateful to God for every blessing and opportunity. He’s always praying, sharing His word, and looking for ways to help others. It’s so special seeing him use something he loves to give back.🥹

And we’re so grateful he had the opportunity to give back to the league that gives him and so many other kids a place to enjoy the game they love.
