Christmas Holiday Menu finally posting!!!

It is getting very busy so please order sooner than later.

Please note, the items with the asterisks( *** ) can be made sugar free and gluten free. I haven’t converted all my recipes over, but I’ve tried to have some variety. If there is something you truly want I will work with you and let you know if it’s possible.

That’s it!!! Happy December to everyone… Christmas is creeping up on all of us so please remember your desserts!!!

The CHAI SPICED COOKIE
( original recipe on Food.com)

Have you ever made a cookie that just warms your heart and fills your home with every possible scent of Fall!!! This recipe was passed to me by a local Novato Client and it has become a staple in my repertoire of Fall Cookies….

You may or may not enjoy this much spice, but if you DO enjoy all those Fall flavors… I urge you to include it into your Family’s Recipe Book… not just for now but Christmas too❤️

CHAI SPICED COOKIE Ingredients

1-cup butter, softened
2-cups flour
1⁄2-cup powdered sugar
1 1⁄2-teaspoons ground cardamom
1 1⁄2-teaspoons ground allspice
1-teaspoon ground cinnamon
1-teaspoon ground nutmeg
1⁄2-teaspoon ground ginger
1⁄2-teaspoon ground cloves
1⁄2-teaspoon salt
4-teaspoons vanilla or maple syrup
2-egg yolks

COATING

1 1⁄2-teaspoons powdered sugar

1⁄2-teaspoon ground cardamom
1⁄2-teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

In large bowl, beat butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar with electric mixer on low speed until well blended.

Stir in remaining cookie ingredients.

Shape dough by tablespoonfuls into balls.

On an ungreased cookie sheets, place
balls 1 1/2 inches apart.

Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until very lightly browned.

Remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack and cool for 5 minutes.

In medium bowl, mix coating ingredients.

Working in batches, gently roll warm cookies in coating mixture.

Cool on cooling rack 5 minutes.

After cooled…re-coat cookies in mixture again

After completely cooled.. store in sealed container up to 30 days… they will stay fresh
