Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls...

Recipe development isn't easy and this recipe has tested my patience at every turn. Being a cottage baker isn't always easy because they are limits to your ingredients, that paired with my all organic ingredients and a sourdough base have really stretched me as a baker.

As you can imagine...we go through a lot of flour!

Our organic fresh milled flour is purchased from Azure Standard. We pickup our order locally which is apart of their sustainability model. Some days the weather isn't ideal but we press on!

This week we will see you Dorey Farmers Market, Inc. from 9 to noon with:

The weather is getting cooler and my starter wasn't fully awake this morning.

That's okay, I wasn't either 😅

I wrapped her in a heating pad to help her along and had some breakfast. Making sourdough will teach you patience and to control what's in your sphere of influence. Things happen and that's okay. We will still be making some amazing loaves it will just take a little longer.

Maybe the universe knew I needed a break? ......
