First, we would like to apologize for being a bit unreachable in light of recent personal events.
We have made the difficult decision to take a step back from our daily in-person sales for the time being and focus on the private order and wholesale side of our business. We understand this may upset some of you, but it gives us the flexibility we need at the moment and as you know, health and family have always been a priority for us. This WILL NOT affect any current or future orders; we will continue to take and fill custom and private orders and make arrangements for pickup at the bakery at the customers convenience.
While we have enjoyed the time with daily customers, the key to our success has always been custom and specialty orders. While we’ve been in West Point, our relationships with local businesses and event venues has grown extensively, so we will be working to expand opportunities for similar partnerships, and shifting our primary focus to the catering, party, wedding, wholesale and event side of our business.
For the time being, the Main Street shop will not be open for walk-in or take out services, but we will continue to take orders for custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and catering services, along with muffins, pastries, and savories by the dozen. The shop will be available for special events, space rental for parties, wedding cake tastings and, pickup for custom orders.
