What a sweet little surprise waiting for me at the shed❣️🥰

I hadn’t noticed it when we closed Saturday night, but a sweet friend asked today if I’d found a little surprise. Of course, I hurried out to look… and there He was! 💛

Thank you, Jasmine, for such a dear and thoughtful gift. I needed this reminder today! I know Jesus is always with me, but sometimes the smallest things bring the sweetest encouragement.

This little reminder will have a special spot between my canisters, where I’ll see Him every night while I bake. 🥰

Soft, buttery rolls topped with golden pecans and warm, gooey caramel that drizzles down the sides. An old-fashioned favorite worth keeping a fork handy for! 🥰

🤍 Thursday, October 22 — Original Glazed Cinnamon Rolls
Soft spirals of buttery cinnamon-brown sugar goodness tucked beneath sweet vanilla glaze. Sometimes your heart just wants an old-fashioned favorite. 🥰

☕ Friday, October 23 — Maple Latte Rolls
Cinnamon and espresso-brown sugar filling wrapped in soft dough and finished with maple glaze. Your morning coffee may have found its soulmate!

🥥 Saturday, October 24 — Coconut Pecan German Chocolate Rolls
Chocolate-filled rolls crowned with gooey coconut-pecan frosting. That last little bit of topping in the corner of the box? You’ll want that, too! 😉

I have 10 pies to bake for a special order, outside windows that need washing now that the fields around us have been harvested, and supper to figure out. What’s going on the grill tonight? Your guess is as good as mine! 🤭😂

And because my brain apparently thinks my to-do list needs company… I have another idea! 😆

I dread having a yard sale. Finding the time and gathering everything together at once just doesn’t seem to happen around here!

So, I’m thinking about using a small section of a table in the shed for a little corner called “Treasures & Trifles.” 🥰

As I come across things I no longer use or need, I could price them and set them out for anyone who might give them a new home. A few little treasures alongside your sweet treats! 💙

This is totally off topic, but apparently idleness doesn’t exist in this little world of mine. 😂

For days now, I’ve been thinking The Pie Shed needs a miniature barn quilt. 🥰 Every time I mention it, Ray just gives me that sweet smile.

I’m not sure if he’s thinking, “Bless her heart, her plate is already full,” or, “I’ll get the ladder.” 🤭😂

Then I thought… maybe I need a Christmas barn quilt instead! 🎄

See how quickly one little idea becomes two?

Somebody hide my paintbrushes. 😂❣️

What a crazy, beautiful, busy week! ❣️🥰

I’m showered, in my jammies, and watching the Notre Dame game with my guys. David has waited all day to watch in his new sweatshirt—it doesn’t take much to make that boy happy! Ray is happy watching from the comfort of his La-Z-Boy, and me? I’m just happy, period. ❤️

Thank you for a wonderful week at the shed! You guys have the BEST sweet tooths! 🤭😘 And to everyone who came out for that last-minute sale—WOW! You sure helped this baker out! I hope this week’s goodies made your tummies happy. 🥰

I’m ready for a weekend of rest and relaxation… who am I kidding? I have closets to clean out! 😂
