Cinnamon rolls and cinnamon roll cookies are finally done.
Someone needed a nap earlier and sometimes, I bake better at night. Even in my early 20's, I baked overnight, while the kids were sleeping.
And now I can cool off in the cooler weather that the storms are bringing in.
2 dozen regular rolls are already spoken for.

I was asked by my sister to match cookies to the book that her book club is reading, The Poison Daughter.
The ones that look messy are on purpose, as it's supposed to represent mixed auras from the main character in the book, who is immune to the one whose kisses are poisonous.
I'm always willing to take on new challenges, and this aura thing was a conundrum I needed to figure out.
So I did one cookie at a time until my sister was happy with one and that's what went on the rest.
I used edible marker for the lightening lines and an almond extract and food grade paint brushes to do the watercolor effect.
Bonus: I get to borrow the book when she's done reading it!

Take that AI!
The last picture is what I believe to be AI.
Mainly because I could find NO PATTERN for this online, anywhere.
So, I made my own pattern from the skills I've already acquired.
I'm still crocheting through my grief.
Jeremiah Clawson would be calling me Jeffrey Dahmer with all these eyeballs laying around.

I don't normally steam or block my items, but i thought I'd try it for these coasters to lay flat.
I think that I loaned my iron to someone, so u steamed them by boiling some water and putting a small colander upside down, on top on the pan of water.
These are all already sold.
If anyone wants a set, these are $40 per set.

First dragon coaster is done! 3 more to make. I'm using a color changing yarn that changes as it's worked. These should be interesting looking dragon coasters...

Not to bad for not having a pattern and just looking at the picture... it's easier as I've made coasters before. So only some small modifications to make.
