Preventing Your Cake From Sticking: Heeeey Baking Besties…Flipping pound cakes could be a bit difficult due to their density. However, following these simple tips will likely give the coveted picture perfect finish, practically every time. 1) Apply generous amounts of baking spray not to be confused with cooking spray my go to’s are Baker’s Joy & Pam‘s baking spray. The trick here is to get literally every nook and cranny afterwards. Be sure to drain off any excess oil, however. 2) You may also apply your own homemade goob too base your pan(s). Parchment paper may be used in addition to coating the pan. 3) Next, consider allowing your cake to cool off at least 10 to 15 minutes maybe even a tad bit longer if it’s larger in size. This allows the cake to release from its molding in one piece. Trust me, you don’t want to sleep on this step. 3) Last, I recommend slowly releasing the cake just in case there is some slight sticking if the cake is not budging at all, you may however, place it back into the oven fully covered for about 15 minutes, perhaps a tad bit longer to allow it to heat up again and re-release. Hope this helps and follow for more baking inspiration and tips! 🎂
