Starting this week, we will be offering our Hearty Organic White Loaves for ordering. This is a flavorful, dense, super soft white bread that's awesome for toasting, sandwiches or just eating with butter or jam. The large loaves are 1.5-1.75 lbs and made from #organic unbleached flour and other organic ingredients. Single loaves are $4 or 2 loaves for $7. Orders are due by noon Wednesday with pickup on Friday.

When you've got no customers to bake for, you bake for yourself....three dozen muffin-pan cornbreads. The family is already enjoying them❤
On another note, we are playing with the idea of creating make your own dessert kits like cookies and cake pops for pickup. I'll post later once we figure out logistics but if this sounds like something you would like to see, let us know :)
I'm also working on re-launching my @thedomesticbadass spice line to help us get through the rough spots since we've had to cancel all of our upcoming big events through the middle of May. We're staying strong and keeping safe and are sending out lots of love, prayers and good energy out to you guys. Be well, keep safe and spread some love (and butter if you have an overabundance of cornbread😊❤❤❤❤

Hi everyone. We hope you all are doing well and staying safe out there.

After a week of very serious thought, we've decided that in light of what's going on with this COVID-19 virus and how fast it's spreading, we have decided to cancel all of our events and pop ups at least for the rest of March and most likely, April as well. We are closely watching things and will make a decision regarding April events at the end of the month, but as of now, we will not be attending next week's Children's Art Weekend or the Pups and Perennials weekend at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens as originally planned.

Also, as of now, we are suspending in person wedding consultations. Rather that meeting for consulations , we will be offering tasting boxes that can be picked up and enjoyed in the comfort of your home, paired with virtual consultations until further notice.

We did not come to this decision lightly or easily. We are a small, family owned and operatedbusiness and as you know, we don't have a store front so pop ups provide a good deal of our income. This will be a financial hit for us for sure but we want to do what we can to help slow this virus down and unfortunately, that means staying clear of large groups at events and limited our time in public places.

We've got three people in our family that are older/immunocompromised plus a little one and the loss of income is nothing if it means keeping them and others like them safe. We urge you all to help "flatten the curve" and help stop the spread of this awful virus by staying away from large gatherings, social distancing and lots of hand washing.

Like I said, the decision was a tough one to make but we really feel that this is the right thing to do.

We are continuing to take orders, and want to reassure our customers that we take hygienic practices very seriously, virus or not, to ensure that our yummy treats are delicious and safe.

Please stay well and take care of yourselves and each other 💕

A big thank you to #wcnc for having us back this morning! As promised, here is the recipe for the Cranberry Wreath! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!!

2-11oz tubes refrigerated French bread dough

Remove and flatten each loaf.
We're with our friends @wcnctv this morning and teaching you guys how to make an easy, at-home version of our Festive Cranberry Wreath! Stay tuned...we will be on at the end of the 8am hour!
Mix together:

1 stick softened butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cardamom
1/4 cup sugar

Spread a layer of the butter mixture over the surface of each loaf, reserving about 2 tbs. Then on one of the loaves, spread a layer of fresh cranberries (about 2/3 cup).
Going lengthwise, seal the deal by pinching the sides each loaf together. You will have 2 loaves at this point. Then twist the two loaves together, form a circle and pinch the ends together to form a wreath.

Place on a baking sheet that's been lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Spread the reserved butter mixture on top of the wreath and sprinkle with colored sugar, Pearl sugar or sprinkles as desired.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Hi guys :)
I am so sorry to have to say this but we have decided to pull out of the Magic of Science at the Schiele on Saturday :(
It is a long and disappointing story but the short of it is that a promise made to us was broken. So even though we have been looking forward to this event since September, we have decided that we cannot move forward with it, based on principle. We are so sorry to disappoint the folks that were looking forward to seeing us and tasting our savory dinner menu. Pulling out of an event is not something we do but in this instance, it was the right thing for us to do and we hope you understand.

On a happier note, we will be at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens this weekend and we will be baking up our famous Stuffed Pizza Breads! They will be fresh, hot and ready for hungry guests to enjoy while strolling the Gardens and enjoying the lights :)

Thanks for your continued support and we look forward to seeing folks at our pop ups throughout the season!

It's almost time for one of our favorite holidays-Dia de Los Mu***os! We will be holding our annual Sugar Skull class on November 2 and 3 at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. This year, the Garden has bundled the admission price into the class price so your admission to the class includes all day Garden admission as well as all of the fun of the Dia de los Mu***os Festival! Come spend a fun day with us learning about this special tradition and this year, we will have a special sweet treat for attendees 😉 This class was wildly popular last year and we ended up selling out of every class so advance registration is highly suggested.
