We are sharing that our Lead Designer, has started her own cake business! Nothing has changed here; we are just that damn proud of her!!!
**Sentimental post warning**
When I bought this business 6 years ago, I did not know that I was going to gain the ultimate confidant. It has taken me a few days to post this just because I wanted to do right by her, and that just shows how much she pushes me to always want to be better.
Marianne is one of the most talented cake decorators that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her passion to create magnificent works of art has always kept me in awe. She is ready for this next chapter, and I will support her in any way I possibly can; even if it means helping to hold up a large piece of heavy fondant.
I will miss having collaborative design discussions about cakes and seeing one of my best friends everyday at work. Thank you for being the ultimate cake child and helping me grow.
Now excuse me while I ugly cry tears of joy because women supporting women is what we believe in the most. So go like, and follow this boss lady!
