Just a shout out to The Thunder Acres Highlands farm!!! Everyone at Country Chicks Bakery just wants to thank you for an awesome season at your farm! Never any drama, everyone is so friendly. We have done your festivals for three years now, I believe, and we have never had a negative experience!! Thank you so much for promoting small businesses, especially those owned by women! You should be so proud of what you have accomplished and everyone that shows up to help!!

Another big thank you to my mom, Jennie Huey!! She has been coming over on wednesday's and helping me with the pies and cakes that go out on Thursdays. (She needs to follow our page too LOL) She is a big help!!! She does anything that needs to be done around the bakery. She helped get the last things ready for the festival at Thunder Acres Highlands this weekend. We really appreciate the extra help!!

I feel like we haven't been on here sharing lately. You guys have been keeping us hopping!! We are so thankful for all of our customers, whether you are in here once a week or every day!! We couldn't do this without you!! A big thank you to Eatons family restaurant and the Corner Cafe!! You have pushed me to make more pies. If you haven't been around in a short time, we are also getting a face lift thanks to Dave Schaap, Jeremy Schaap, and William MacTavish. (I guess I am going to have to invite them to follow our page....LOL ) It is going to look amazing when they get it done!!! We can't say thankyou enough!!!

We had a guest chick today!! My mom came and spent the day at the bakery. She helped me with 5 apple pies and two blueberry pies. Not pictured are the 2 french silk pies, and the two carrot cakes made from scratch!! Whew, glad that is done!!!

We have some good news!!! We will be featured at the Eatons family restaurant in Rogers Heights and The Corner Cafe in Stanwood. They will be serving our pies and cakes!! They will be picking up 2 apple pies, 2 pumpkin pies, 2 peanut butter pies, and 2 made from scratch chocolate cakes with buttercream frosting tomorrow. We are super excited to be featured in their two businesses~!! Thank you Gabby, Brad, and Bob!!!
