The man behind the bread… circa 2008.

Long before Lake Anna Chef, there was a very young Daniel learning his way around a kitchen in the Army.

This photo was taken by one of his Staff Sergeants while he was completing his culinary training here in Virginia after Basic Training — probably with absolutely no idea that almost 20 years later, he’d be back in Virginia running a little bakery with his wife at Lake Anna. 🤎

Everybody starts somewhere… and apparently Daniel started with a whole lot less gray hair. 😂
