Congratulations to all the winners tonight at Hmong WI Chamber of Commerce award ceremony. What a great event. As a small business it was great to network and get my rolls out there in front of my fellow Hmong entrepreneurs and business people. Congratulations to MOCHIUNNI for winning best bite and Small Business of the year.

Our next dessert Best Bite is bringing ube to the table! 💜

Meet Simply Sweets Rolls a Milwaukee-based business founded by Hmong baker Lisa. Her signature rolls are made with a Hokkaido-style Japanese milk bread dough that took seven months to develop and perfect, creating soft, fluffy rolls with the balanced sweetness she loves in her own desserts.

💜 Their Best Bite: Ube Sweet Roll with Coconut Buttercream — Hokkaido-style milk bread dough infused with ube, filled with a smooth ube filling, and topped with a light coconut buttercream.

Come try the Ube Sweet Roll on October 9 and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Best Bite! 🏆
