Our bread oven puts out a lot of heat and, in the height of summer, the bakery just doesn’t cool down as much as we’d like. A lot of cake/cupcake components are temperature dependent, so there’s been a few custom orders recently that have taken years off my life! 🤣
Not this one tho. This is the poster child for why we don’t have a cake pricing guide on our website. I mean, you guys know I don’t routinely make things I personally don’t like to eat, so I’d have never ever thought to make a matcha marble cake! She cooled the colors of earth and moss, so I crumbled up the extra and adhered them to the sides of the cake. Simple and organic, but really pretty.
Anyway! This is your reminder we do custom cakes and my reminder we really need to work on a catering and custom order menu. 😁
