My name is Shannon and I have a passion for baking bread. The whole process is an exercise of patience and an expression of nurturing and creativity. The result is a beautiful loaf of bread with a crusty outside and chewy inside. My bread journey started with Artisan bread made with dried yeast but then I discovered sourdough. The flavor is wonderful, a little more complex, and it seems to be gentler on the gut than breads with dried yeast. I love this bread and want to share with my community. Thus came the beginning of The Kneady Baker! Thanks to the cottage laws of Virginia I can sell bread and shelf stable products out of my home. If you are interested in buying some from me please reach out through Facebook messenger or by commenting on my posts. As I work full time I will only have limited bake days each week and I will make posts about those dates.
