There are seasons in business when the parking lot is full, the pie cases empty quickly, and everything feels easy.
And then there are seasons like many small businesses are experiencing right now when people are watching every dollar, making tough choices, and business can feel a little quieter than usual.
As a small family owned bakery, we understand that. We feel it too.
That’s why today we are especially grateful and humbled to share that Lambert’s Southern Pies & Bake Shop has been voted Best Bakery and Best Dessert in the Daily Times Readers’ Choice Awards.
What makes this even more meaningful is that we never once asked for votes on our page. We didn’t run campaigns or reminders. Yet so many of you thought enough of our little bakery to take the time to vote for us anyway.
That means more than you’ll ever know.
Every dessert purchased, every slice of pie shared with a friend, every lunch ordered, every birthday cake, holiday pie, kind word, recommendation, and visit through our doors has helped keep this dream alive.
When we reopened this bakery, we prayed it would be more than a business. We hoped it would be a place where people could gather, slow down, make memories, and feel at home.
This is our ministry and as I have said before we are undercover bakers here 😉
