🖤🥳 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY 🥳🖤

We’ve officially hit my 1 YEAR anniversary of my first ever cookie set! 🥳🥳 With that being said, and with all of the new faces I’m seeing— I figured a “get to know me” was long over due!

Hi- I’m Kelsey! The owner and artist behind the Cookie Cult! I am a full time stay at home mother and partner to an amazing fiancé and beautiful 2 year old little girl. I have been a resident of Hedgesville my entire life, Hedgesville High graduate, and an active member in the local farmers market. (Come see me 🤪) I am a Scorpio through and through. With a Halloween birthday, it’s really hard for me to deny my love for all things spooky. My favorite season is the whole “—ber” season, no explanation needed. I’m, also, unapologetically a huge nerd! Disney, Pokemon, Transformers, Marvel and DC, Harry Potter— these things all tend to show themselves through my cookies because why not?? I’m an avid supporter of all things “extra”— the more colorful, sparkles, glitter, detailed, the better!! If I’m not doing cookies, chasing a gremlin, or cleaning, you can find me scrapbooking or at my Mom’s (all fellow Mom’s understand that your baby’s not your problem at their grandparents 🤪). I’m 100% transparent and an open book— if you ever have questions, I’m always available and willing to work with you and your needs! There’s no such thing as a dumb or stupid question.

I started The Cult because I needed an outlet. Something to fund my daughter’s busy and constantly evolving personality, and something just for me to have as my own. As someone who is a self-diagnosed “ADHD Hobbier”, I’m always picking up new things and dropping them once they get “old”. However, cookies have become a staple for me. Every order is so fun and different, it ensures I spend time with myself, binge watching tv shows (up until last week— every cookie order could recite the intro to Criminal Minds 😂), forces me to actually sit down, and relax for a couple hours at night. (It’s like coloring, but instead of markers, you have icing.) Which is MUCH needed after wrangling a feral toddler all day!

This past year, over 3,000 cookies have been sent out of my doors!! That’s over 150 orders!! (WHAT?!! 🤩) Through the Cookie Cult, I have gained several new friends and I’ve built an amazing and supportive client base! All “thanks” goes to YOU!! Because of you I have been more successful than I EVER imagined!! I had moments this past year where I considered “closing” certain months because I had so many orders lined up! Which is INSANE and I’m so grateful 😭 We’re gearing up for holiday months and every bakery around here is essentially prepping for their Super Bowl! Cookie pre-orders and classes are all lined up and patiently waiting to be launched— I’m so ready!! 💪🏻

All of that to basically just say “hi”, “I love you all”, and “thank you”!! Here’s to year 2 of The Cookie Cult and all the new things it brings!! 🖤🤩🍾✨
