Ideally we are thinking no more than 20 minutes outside of Marion and about 600-800 square feet for our cookie studio where we would bake, decorate and host classes/occasional pop-ups out of!

Just wanted to pop on today to pull back the “Cookie Curtain” and introduce ourselves to our newest followers as the face(s) behind the cookies!
Hi! I am Debi (right) 👋! I am a self-taught baker/cookier (if you don’t count Instagram, Pinterest, and the wealth of knowledge acquired from hundreds of other cookiers world-wide anyway 😂🤷🏻♀️). I grew up in a family restaurant on the South Shore so the Food & Beverage Industry has been a part of my life since before I could walk. I graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. I have experience managing front-of-house operations for both restaurants and hotels and honestly never expected to find myself on the kitchen side of things (at least not in a professional capacity). It just goes to show you that you never know where life will take you!
I started selling my cookies in 2015 when we lived in Plymouth, MA and quickly wrangled my wife, Lisa (left), into helping me with the logistical side of things and as an extra set of hands in the kitchen. Lisa graduated Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Work and has had a career as a Social Worker as well as a Project Manager for multiple companies. Our different experiences, professional backgrounds and personalities make for a really well-balanced team!
Our littlest baker, Freya (middle), is our 2 1/2 year old daughter who loves rolling the dough almost as much as she loves eating the cookies. **Please rest assured that those sticky little fingers won’t find their way anywhere near an actual cookie order! 😂**
We have viewed Rolling in the Dough as an awesome little side-hustle over the years and have taken some time off here and there (when getting married, buying our house, when we had our daughter, Freya, and when helping with our family business). However, we are now settled into our home in Marion, MA and are in a place where we are looking ahead in hopes of growing our business to the next level.
Thank you all for coming on this journey with us - we appreciate your support more than you know!
