This is going to be a long one… sorry, I try to keep posts short and ( 😉) sweet but not this time.
As many of you know Magpies was intended to be a five year adventure/lease. And though my official five years ends at the end of April , my baking adventure is sadly getting cut short. On February 4th I’m getting a shoulder replacement ( yes, I did just have a hip replacement, insert bionic woman jokes here) and though I thought maybe I could sneak it in and get back to the bakery , I’ve learned that’s not really an option.
This is not how I wanted to end this amazing journey with you all, but Mama Magpie needs both wings to work.
I’m dedicated to finding a fabulous person to take over that lovely little space and I really hope I’m able to make that happen.
I never could have imagined what Magpies would mean in my life; learning and growing, sure, but most importantly the wonderful, beautiful, smart, funny and caring friends I’ve made along the way.
I would love to welcome anyone who might be able to stop by and say “ see ya soon “ next Saturday morning January 24th for a treat.
THANK YOU for (almost) 5 years of joy and laughter and tears and friendship.
