🍞🍕 **When the order says “make it easy to slice”… we understood the assignment.** 👏🏼

This custom order went out with:

✨ **2 Pepperoni Pizza Sourdough Loaves**
✨ **1 Classic Plain Sourdough Loaf**

All baked in **sandwich-loaf style** for cleaner, easier slicing — perfect for sandwiches, toast, grilled cheese, or just tearing into while it’s still fresh. 😍

And those pepperoni pizza loaves? Basically pizza + sourdough had a baby. 😂🔥

This is the kind of review that makes a small business owner want to frame it. 🥹🤎

She ordered THREE different loaves… but it was *The Portugueser* that got turned into a grilled cheese and apparently stole the show. 👀🔥

Ling peppers + onions swirled throughout homemade sourdough… and yes, it tastes just as good as it sounds.

But my favorite part?

✨ “The ordering process was quick and easy.”
✨ “They were all individually packaged and bagged so cute.”
✨ “A must try if you love simple ingredients while enjoying deliciously homemade bread.”

THIS is why I do what I do. Every loaf is made in small batches, packaged by hand, and sent out hoping someone loves it this much. 🤍

So… who else thinks a Portugueser grilled cheese needs to happen immediately?! 😂👇

Unpopular opinion: MOST soft pretzels are disappointing. 🫣🥨

Dry. Too dense. Barely any flavor.

And then there are sourdough pretzels.

Golden outside. Soft, chewy center. Salty. Buttery. That slight sourdough tang that makes you immediately reach for another one.

Once you’ve had a fresh sourdough pretzel from The Kneaded Nest, the food-court version starts feeling a little… suspicious. 👀😂

I SAID WHAT I SAID.

🥨 Sourdough pretzels > regular pretzels.

I’m not saying you need a sourdough dealer…

…but having someone who can hook you up with fresh bread, bagels, pretzels AND cinnamon rolls seems like a pretty important relationship to have. 😂🥖

If you’ve ever cut into one of our loaves and wondered, “Should sourdough have bigger holes?” — this post is for you. 🤎

At The Kneaded Nest, we aren’t chasing those giant, Instagram-worthy holes. Our goal is a soft, moist, close-knit crumb with small-to-medium air pockets — and we do it intentionally.

Why? Because we want bread that actually works for everyday life. 🙌🏼

✨ Butter stays ON your toast
🥪 Mayo doesn’t fall through your sandwich
🍳 Your eggs have somewhere to sit
🤎 And every bite is soft, hearty & satisfying

A more open crumb isn’t automatically “better” sourdough — and a tighter crumb doesn’t automatically mean something went wrong. Different breads are designed for different purposes.

Our sandwich loaves are made to have that beautiful, even structure you see right here. 🍞

Slow fermentation. Simple ingredients. Real bread.
