✨August Recap✨
The month of August had many difficulties but one thing remained true - thanks to the customers of LOAF’D September is hopeful.
🧡 August profits helped pay for my dog Pepper’s mass removal. Pepper is on the road to recovery. She is on her third day post-op and is healing well.
🧡 August profits also bought numerous dry cat food bags and cans of wet food to continuously help care for some of the colonies of local community cats.
🧡 August profits paid for the neuter and eye removal of a community cat, Sailor. My dear friend and biggest helper, Kim, noticed Sailor one night as she was feeding other colonies. She made it her mission to trap Sailor after she noticed he had something wrong with one of his eyes. Thanks to the amazing support of Brookview Animal Wellness, they determined the best thing for Sailor was to remove his eye. They didn’t charge us extra, just the $65.00 TNR fee. We are currently seeking sanctuary opportunity for Sailor, but those are almost like a golden ticket- extremely rare.
🧡 A special friend crocheted August’s cat giveaway. Winner will be chosen at random on Labor Day 🙂

A special shout out to Kim Bernstine Kleineweber who among her grief of losing her beloved dog, Josie, she continued to show up for the cats. Rest in peace, Josie 🧡
