Happy 50th Birthday to my amazing sister! The larger bottom tier was 9in margarita cake with a lime curd and modified buttercream. The top tier was 6in pineapple cake with pineapple filling and whipped cream frosting. I used natural blue pea for coloring, I think it reacted to the acid in the pineapple and changed color. I did not love the look of the cakes stacked. I think it worked out having the two tiers separate for the party.

My March's Cake at Cost order was a My first Rodeo theme. I hadmade the fondant belt buckle, belt, hat and I last minute made a cowboy boot.

It was a 6inch vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.

This cake is too cute to not share. I have a friend that likes to make her own kids cakes. She makes her own cake and buttercream and then she brings them to my house. I help with techniques, color, assembly, tools and whatever else she wants help with. I try to be as hands off as possible so that she can gain experience and have that joy that comes from completing a cake 😍 I think she did great!
