An important note about bagels: One of the main flours used in these is the King Arthur Gluten Free Bread Flour. This is made with a blend of deglutinated π°π‘πππ starch (Codex wheat starch), sorghum flour, and other starch blends. While the FDA considers foods with up to 20 parts per million of gluten protein "gluten free", King Arthur's target PPM is 10 or fewer. A number of popular brands such as Schar and Original Sunshine use this starch in some of their products. This flour is πππ recommended for people with π°π‘πππ ππ₯π₯ππ«π π’ππ¬, but is considered safe for those with Celiac Disease or a gluten intolerance.
Feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions about our ingredients or practices! We strive to keep our household gluten free and are always open to talk.
