I've been to the Dobbin House and had this wonderful, tempting dessert! If you're not partial to the ginger sauce, vanilla ice cream is a lovely substitute!! Worth the trip!! ❤️

Freshly warmed in our Dobbin House bake ovens, you'll delight in the spiced aroma of the nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon and sweet molasses in our soft, moist, warm cake of ginger. Topped with a hot, thick lemon sauce, this yummy treat tastes like a page lifted straight out of the 18th century.
