Some collaborations just make sense. When Pretty Lux Co. teamed up with Gallery West, the idea was to create something that brought together music, fragrance, memory, and Macon.

Together, Scott Mitchell and Pretty Lux developed five original concepts: Dust & Vinyl, Blue Sky Morning, River Bend Rival, Ramblin’ Pines, and Weathered Bloom. From there, Pretty Lux brought each one to life through custom fragrance development and production.

The result? Five scents that are more than names on candles. Each one tells a story and captures a little piece of the place that inspired it.

Building Pretty Lux in Central Georgia has taught me that sometimes the thing you’re looking for doesn’t exist yet because you’re meant to help create it.

I’ve watched this community embrace Pretty Lux as we’ve grown from candles into experiences, education, partnerships, and so much more. And along the way, I’ve learned that people here aren’t looking elsewhere for luxury. They’re looking for experiences that feel thoughtful, personal, and intentionally created for them.

There’s a big difference between saying, “Central Georgia needs this,” and deciding to become one of the people who builds it.

I’m proud to be building it here.
