At County Line Bakehouse, “sourdough” means true sourdough.
Every product I make from sourdough bread to focaccia, scones, cookies, and more is made with a long, slow fermentation process (typically 24 hours or more). I don’t just add sourdough discard to a regular recipe and call it sourdough.
Long fermentation helps break down gluten and phytic acid, supports digestion, and allows the grains to become more nutrient accessible. It also creates the flavor and texture that make real sourdough special.
I care deeply about what I’m feeding my own family, and I want the same quality and intention behind the food I make for yours. 🤍
Cookies are sold out (sorry!!) but I still have some bread and new scones available for pick up next week. Here’s the link to order:
I serve the Lone Jack community with my artisan sourdough breads, sourdough cookies, sourdough scones and other baked goods. Everything I bake is fully fermented for maximum health benefits. Thank you for being here!
