🗣️"You all need to stay."
We've heard those four words more times than we can count.
We've also heard:
🗣️
"I just found out y'all were here."
"I wish I had known sooner."
As Beyond the Divide approaches its currently scheduled end on June 20, we wanted to share what this experience has meant to us.
When Chocolate Spoon Bake Shoppe joined Beyond the Divide, we weren't quite sure what to expect. What we found was a community excited to discover local businesses, support entrepreneurs, and experience something different in downtown Little Rock.
As a business owner, hearing comments like these means everything. They tell us that people are looking for spaces that bring community, culture, small business, and connection together.
Projects like Beyond the Divide provide businesses like mine with an opportunity to be seen, connect with new customers, and contribute to the revitalization of spaces that have too often been overlooked despite their tremendous potential.
If you've been meaning to visit, NOW is the time. The project is currently scheduled to end on June 20, and we'd love to see as many familiar and new faces as possible before then. ‼️‼️
Chocolate Spoon Bake Shoppe isn't going anywhere. Be sure to join our Sweet List so you can stay connected, hear about future events, and find out where we'll pop up next.
Thank you for every purchase, every share, every recommendation, and every word of encouragement. You have helped make this experience truly special.

Starting Monday, the countdown begins.
After an unforgettable season on Historic West 9th Street, studioMAIN's Beyond the Divide project will officially come to a close on Saturday, June 20 — Juneteenth.
It is bittersweet to say that. But we are not finished yet! The revitalization will continue in many ways, long after we are done!
We have an incredible final calendar of events planned throughout June, and we need your help making these last few weeks our biggest yet. Bring your family. Invite your friends. Support a local business. Attend an event. Share this post. Help us fill West 9th Street with life, energy, and community one more time.
In just a few months, Beyond the Divide has:
1. Brought new attention and activity to Historic West 9th Street through Downtown Little Rock’s first pop-up Black business district
2. Created new opportunities for local entrepreneurs, artists, performers, and community leaders
3. Introduced public art and storytelling that celebrate the history and legacy of West 9th Street
4. Shown what is possible when people come together with creativity, dedication, and a belief that meaningful change does not always have to take years to begin
We sincerely wish Beyond the Divide could continue...With more time, support, and resources, we believe this could grow into a one-of-a-kind Little Rock experience: a permanent platform for small businesses, art, culture, history, and community connection.
So during these final weeks, let’s show City of Little Rock, AR what this place can become and why projects like this are needed!

💬 Tell us in the comments: Why you think Beyond the Divide should return in a bigger, better, and bolder way?
Every visit, share, comment, and purchase helps demonstrate why projects like this matter — and why West 9th Street deserves continued investment.
Thank you to every partner, supporter, business owner, artist, volunteer, and community member who helped bring this vision to life.
