Today, April 11, 2026, marks 10 years of Cakes Like Velvet serving the community.

This journey has not been easy. Many people do not see the long days, the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, or the strength it takes to keep going. Balancing a full-time job while pouring love, time, and energy into every order is no small task, especially when there are only two hands and so little time.

But through every challenge, every change, and every obstacle, Cakes Like Velvet is still standing.

I am proud of how far this business has come, and I look forward to continuing to grow through it all.
