I have been blessed with so many new followers recently so I wanted to answer some of the questions I’ve been getting.

My name is Christy Whewell and The Next Chapter Bakery is a cottage bakery, which means that I bake in my home and sell my baked goods. I have the Certified Food Protection Manager license and I am registered through the health department. I retired from teaching in 2025 and this bakery is my next chapter.

Orders can be placed through Facebook messenger or by texting or calling me (812-899-0901). I often post when I have extra things for sell. I participate in some local markets when I can. I will soon have a farm stand in my yard for my baked goods and I am so excited about that! I will be posting updates as that gets closer to being open.

Thanks for following along on this journey! Elsie Jane Photography takes pictures of my food and does an amazing job. I am so blessed with so many people supporting and encouraging me and trying my baked goods and I am beyond grateful.

It’s here!!! My new farmstand! I will still make all of the food in my kitchen but you will soon be able to pick up orders or stop and get a tasty treat. It has a lot of work that needs to be done before it is ready, but soon it will be a reality. I have lots of ideas and plans! Can’t wait to share them with you!
