We carry locally sourced products from artisans and makers...all with a generally sunny vibe. Whether you are interested in gift giving or treating yourself, we have something for everyone. Every year, the farmer's wife designs a T-shirt that encompasses the love of Grinter Farms and sunflowers...you could start a collection! If you have a sweet tooth, you will find treats to purchase and enjoy on the shaded lawn at one of the picnic tables...or pack your own picnic and enjoy the day. We strive to bring a smile to everyone's face who graces our business.

Good morning! We are open today from 9-4. After that, the sun will set on our 2026 season and we will look forward to seeing you in August of 2027! We still have a great selection of neighbor Kevin‘s wall art, and one of our local honey guys brought in a fresh batch yesterday. It’s still the best place to shop for gifts for your sunflower lovers.
Thanks for a wonderful season! We are truly grateful.

Good morning, all! This is our last weekend for the store and we thank you for yet another wonderful season. We are open today and tomorrow from 9-4. We have a fresh supply of local raw honey if you need to stock up for your allergies.
Included in the photos is a picture farmer Ted took of a most fabulous toadstool on our lawn. Come enjoy your morning with us!

Well, yesterday was just a series of unfortunate events. The heavy rain delayed, then a power outage sealed the deal. I’m happy to say that neither is currently an issue. Rolls are in the oven, coffee is brewing, and all is well.
Sunflower fields are muddy so we encourage you to shop first or bring extra shoes to limit tracking mud.

*UPDATE* closing at noon today

It’s way too muddy to attempt the fields today (we had 2.6” of rain so far). We will open the store just to catch some stragglers that might not get the field memo, but we’ll likely close up by lunch to take our crew out for a well-deserved rain day.  Thanks for your “this is just farm life” understanding.
