I was honored to be asked to provide deserts for an event hosted by GBC as a collaborative with Q39, Meat Mitch and Burnt End BBQ called Made in the Middle. It was held at the Austin Event Space and it was so cool to see my creations being photographed and shared by some amazing people. Huge shout out to Tim & Matthew for believing in my small business and including me in their event.

I feel like I don’t ever have much mental capacity left after busy baking seasons and although I’m a baker my family generally doesn’t get baked goods but this year I made it a priority to make a centerpiece cake for them to celebrate Christmas. I LOVE doors (strange infatuation I know) so making another cake with a door brought me a lot of joy.

I was so busy with cakes & cupcakes during Christmas, I didn’t get to make many cookies this year but I had fun with the ones I did get to make. Cookies make the perfect gift boxes!
