And another ONE bites the dust!!

Girls just wanna be ONE!!

I had the pleasure of doing this fun smash cake for one of the absolute cutest little ones ever!! We went simple with this one with a French Vanilla Cake with pink swirls. On the outside we have a white base with a light pink top and bottom border. We have White chocolate Bows, a big white chocolate #1, and the prettiest pink edible glitter. We also made chocolate vanilla swirl cupcakes with matching frosting and bows(Not Pictured).

This little one went bonkers with her cake, she even used it as a new hair gel and it looked sooo SWEET, taste and hair gel wasn’t enough so the sweet little lady had to go wild and look closer at her cake by getting some in her eyes.

Needless to say not even frosting in the eye, frosting hair gel, and frosting covered skin could keep her from devouring and playing in this ONE cute smash cake!

💜💚A Little Baking Can Make a Big Difference. 💜💚

I hope you don’t mind me getting a little personal today.

As many of you know, Toothache Bakes has always been about sharing love through homemade treats. Today, I’m asking for your help in showing that same love to my family during one of the hardest seasons we’ve ever faced.

My Stepfather Chris is currently battling severe and extreme health issues and is receiving treatment at KU Med. Life has changed so much for them, and the financial strain has become overwhelming.

My mother Michelle is their only source of income as an MA at Watkins on KU Campus, but she is also carrying so much more. She works hard every day to keep their home running, takes care of all of their household responsibilities, and serves as his full-time live-in nurse, supporting him through his health journey around the clock. On top of everything, she lovingly cares for their two sweet pugs, Lucy and Frank.

Because of this, I’ve decided to use Toothache Bakes to help support them during this difficult time. ❤️

To celebrate my mother and I birthdays for August and September, 🍪 From August 1st through September 30th, 25% of every bakery order placed with Toothache Bakes will be donated directly to help them with household bills, travel expenses, medical-related costs, groceries, and other necessities while they focus on his health and recovery.

But I wanted to make this fundraiser even more special…

One of his favorite things is anything chocolate, peanut butter, or Reese’s. 🥜🍫 So for any order placed in this flavor, 50% of the proceeds from that order will go directly to helping them.

Some examples include:

✨ One of my favorite birthday cakes to date! ✨🎂

I have been absolutely swamped with birthday and anniversary orders lately (and I couldn’t be more grateful! ❤️), but I had to take a moment to share this beauty with you all.

This cake was made for someone who is incredibly close and special to me, and I wanted it to be just as unique as they are. From the elegant black, white, and silver design on the outside to the surprise Neapolitan checkerboard cake hidden inside, this one was so much fun to create!

Seeing the look on someone’s face when they cut into a cake like this is exactly why I love what I do. 💕

We have a local family who has fallen on hard times, and we would love to raise money to help them get back on their feet! They only need around $500 to get them back on the road to success and life. With this in mind, we are having a Sourdough Sale! We are running a BOGO 1/2 OFF on any loaf! If you want more than 4-6 loaves, we can discuss an even better deal 😊.

•Regular Artisan sourdough 1.5-2lb loaf- $10.00 each. •Tomato and Green Chili 1.5-2lb loaf- $15.00 each.
•Jalapeño cheddar 1.5-2lb loaf- $15.00 each.
•Cinnamon Roll Sourdough 1.5-2lb loaf- $15.00 each. •Chocolate chip sourdough 1.5-2lb loaf- $15.00 each.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE A SPECIAL FLAVOR OR INCLUSIONS NOT LISTED, WE CAN ABSOLUTELY ACCOMMODATE MAKING EACH SPECIAL LOAF FOR $18.00-$20.00, depending on what add-ins you'd like.

(‼️🖤🍞Each bake takes 2.5 days start to finish, so once we have your order, we will have it fresh and ready to pick up the morning of day 3, that way you get a fresh loaf every time🍞🖤‼️)

Happy Father's Day from our kitchen to yours!

This year, our favorite fisherman wanted just a simple cake, so we delivered, plus some, a ridiculously awesome Reese's peanut butter chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, and of course, a giant Bass to make the day more spectacular! 😊
