The horde is coming…

The undead will gather again at the Lawrence annual Zombie Walk event, benefitting the Lawrence Humane Society! THIS THURSDAY from 3pm - sundown, there will be plenty of activities, food (braaaaainnsss, AKA cupcakes), photo ops, blood bath stations, and professional make-up artists! This is our fav event of the year and we’re excited to be a sponsor this year! Gather in South Park and folks start walking typically around 7pm.

Classic pearl beauty 🤍

I am months behind on posting, as we have been deep in wedding season. The mother of the bride was a cake decorator as well and wanted to add some floral after we left so she could contribute to her daughter’s special day (so sweet!!), so this was its semi-final state. Stunning, and it had an impressive set-up at the venue. 😍

Fav cake trend to date. 🧿✨

This evil eye embroidery heart cake combines delicate piping with the iconic evil eye design for a stunning magical vibe!

Fun fact: the evil eye symbol has been used across many cultures for centuries, and it is traditionally believed to offer protection from negative energy and bring good luck to the person who receives it. I was so pumped when my client requested this design!

Same cake, two different border tones! Which is your fav?

(This is not AI, nor will you ever find us posting an AI-generated cake photo. This is the same exact wedding cake we completely revamped for the bride. The second style added an additional reverse shell bordering, and it was raining that morning so the lighting is different.)

Fun fact: this cake was half strawberry and half vanilla, split straight down the middle. If you zoom in you’ll see the discreet label so the couple knew which side to cut into for pics! 💕
