I am not planning to do Waukon or Prairie markets this week. I have been keeping an eye on the weather and just don’t want to risk it. If anything changes I will let you know.
I will still be at Red Barn and Lansing market so you can still find me.
I haven’t made up my menu for the week so if anything sounds good just let me know.

As I was slicing this French Toast Loaf for a customer I just kept looking at how pretty it is.
I love slicing bread for customers so I can get a look at the inside of the loaf, but it also makes it hard to not want to steal a piece 😂 how can you not want some of this bread

I’m starting to make my menu for the week. If you want something on this list please let me know, or you want something not on the list tell me, maybe I will add to it.
Also just because I have it written does not mean I will make it so please please please let me know.

As much as I wanted to go to Waukon market this week I don’t know if I will be able to. My salon schedule is pretty busy so I’m not sure I will have time to get everything ready.
I am planning on heading down to prairie du chein market this week. It’s been so long and I know I need to get back.
As always I will be at red barn Thursday through Sunday and Lansing market Saturday

Well this is supposed to be a Funfetti white chocolate loaf, but since I use natural sprinkles they kind of melted into the bread. But you know what? I’m not mad about it. This bread reminds of birthday cake but in bread form.
My suggestion is stop and grab some, then this weekend make those little ones French toast and enjoy the last few days before school starts

Well all these busy weeks have been making me so happy. I’ve been loving life and loving being in the kitchen all day.
With that being said I’m going to try to do it again, yep all 3 markets.
If everything goes right I will be
Waukon Wednesday 4-6:30
Prairie du Chien Thursday 4-7
Lansing Saturday 9-12
And of course Red Barn Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday

Check back with me day of market to make sure I can still go.

And I can’t decide on menu this week. Help me out with ideas on what you want to see for the week. I will try to get it done

I will not be at Lansing Farmers market this week

I would say it’s been a busy week, but lately every week has been busy busy.
Did you know that at least once a week I wake up at 1:00am to start my baking? I know crazy. The even crazier part is usually when I do I’m in my kitchen singing and dancing.

I hope to see everyone out and about tomorrow so I can see all my hard work pay off.
I will have Red Barn truck stocked as well. But I will not have all products there. If there is something you know you want let me know and I will make sure to save it back for you, you can pick up at either location.

First I want to say thank you to everyone that came to the Lansing Fish Days Farmers Market. I was delightfully shocked with the amount of product that was sold. By far my best Farmers Market ever, and even better than the other special markets I have done.
Sometimes I can’t believe the support from everyone and that “my work” doesn’t even feel like work at all. I would have never dreamed that this is my life now, and now I would never change anything about it.

This weeks numbers sold
25 minis
52 smalls
34 larges
22 bags of breadsticks
Plus so many cookies and croutons

But now this week I think my starter is trying to tell me to slow down. Both Johnny and Francine have been acting up. Honestly I think they are mad at me for forgetting to feed them over the weekend. As of right now I have not been able to mix up any bread dough this week. I am hoping to start by late evening, fingers crossed.

Also this weekend I will not be at Lansing Farmers Market. Instead I will be at White Haus Social Club in Waukon for their Summer Market. Once I get everything going I will try to stock Red Barn Truck as well.
I will keep everyone posted once I start.

Here is my menu for the weekend!!!

Just a heads up, there is some stuff set up at Red Barn today that may not be there or at the market tomorrow, and vice versa.

Also remember the pretzel sticks last week?? I sold out in 10 minutes!!!!! I did make more this week but I still expect them to go fast. I’d suggest getting to market right away tomorrow morning so you can make sure to snag a bag or two of them.
