It’s crazy how time flies and we trade flip-flops for cozy socks, find the nearest pumpkin patch, and sprinkle a little extra fun into the everyday!

From digital scavenger hunts and pumpkin-patch adventures to pumpkin-flavored treats that taste like a hug from autumn... this season is full of reasons to slow down and savor the sweet stuff. So gather your people, make a little mess, chase a few fall adventures, and remember that sometimes the very best memories are found in the simplest moments (preferably with a cookie in hand!). 🍪🧡🍁

This week, I have curated a digital scavenger hunt for kids and for adults that are kids at heart 🧡 for an adult fall party or something fun to do with kiddos in your life. I will leave copies of each list available for free in the bake shop to pick up starting on Thursday!! If you decide to do the digital scavenger hunt, be sure to send me a picture and let me know if I can share it with our digital community!

This past week I had the opportunity to share in the celebration of life of a beautiful soul who was kind of like our church gramma.. 91 love-filled years she had on this earth. I often tear up at a funeral for both the stories and pictures shared ... but also at the love left behind... friends and family grieving for their loss. It is always a reminder to me to savor every moment with every one in my path... it's like a holy hush in the middle of it all whispering sloooooow down.

I hope that you make time - (it rarely happens by accident) - so take the time... send the text, make the plans, share in the simple moments, step outside, play, and savor this precious one life we have with the ones you love. Every breath is a gift!

pie season is right around the corner and we are already taking pre-orders now for the holiday season! This year, we will have both mini-pies and hand pies along with our full size pie offerings.
sending a little teaser of the baking process for our berry-licious pie and our classic pumpkin pies.
we will offer PECAN, PUMPKIN, MIXED BERRY AND APPLE PIE this fall.

There’s something special about fall that reminds us to slow down, pull up a chair, and make room for the people we love. Like the pages of a favorite book, our lives are made up of stories, chapters, and moments worth sharing. And the very best ones often happen when we close the books, set our screens aside, and gather around the table to truly see one another. To hear the laughter, share the stories, ask the questions, and make memories that no photograph or text message can quite capture.

This fall, let’s make gathering a little more intentional. Invite someone over for coffee and cookies, host a book-themed evening, share a cozy meal, or simply create a reason to celebrate the season together. The leaves may be falling, the days may be getting shorter, but there’s no shortage of warmth to be found in a room full of people who matter. After all, the sweetest chapters aren’t meant to be read alone. 🍂📚🍪
