A little glimpse behind the display case. 🤎

It is no secret that when I carried on the vision at CHIC, some of the products we serve today were already here. What I did was take something that already was and elevated it!

Here at CHIC, the majority of what you see is made from scratch.

The creams.
The fillings.
The dough.
The little details that eventually become the pastries filling our case.

There are a lot of early mornings and long hours behind what you see when you walk through our doors, but there is also so much joy in being able to create something with the gifts we have been given to serve our community.

So when you look at the full pastry case, just know there's a whole lot of love, work, and very early mornings behind it 😂🥐

Come by CHIC and taste the difference for yourself. 🤎

For most of my 20s, when things got hard, I...jumped...ship

I would convince myself it wasn't for me, that it was time to move on, or that something better was waiting on the other side.

But these last two years building CHIC have challenged me to do something different:

STAY.

Stay through the good.
Stay through the hard.
Stay through the seasons where I am unsure.
Stay long enough to learn what that season is trying to teach me.

And I have failed. In many ways. More than once.

But I am learning that failure isn't always a sign that you're on the wrong path. Sometimes it's proof that you were brave enough to try.

So lean into the process. Enjoy the journey. Let it teach you.

Because if you rush to the next level without learning what you were supposed to learn on this one, you may just meet the same boss with different skills 😅😅

Try.
Fail.
Learn.
Adjust.
Try AGAIN.

And if you fail? Congratulations. You did what most people were too afraid to even try. 🤎

It's the little things, that together, create something great!

The this most people never notice.
The small updates.
The behind- the- scenes work.
The adjustments.
The conversations.
The decision to try one more thing.

We have a tendancy to wait for the perfect time, until we feel ready, until we have more money, more confidence, more knowledge, or a clearerer plan.

But sometimes you just have to do it!

Because you don't have to have everything figured out to take the next step.

Some of the biggest things we're building at CHIC are happening through the smallest moments, the ones that probably don't look significant at all.

Keep showing up.
Keep learning.
Keep adjusting.
Keep believing.

And when he time comes to take that next step....

Just do it

Come see what we are building. 🤎 Stop by CHIC and be a part of the journey.
