Toddler Snack Tuesday ๐ซ๐ฅฃ
โToday we made Blueberry Oatmeal Breakfast Bars! These are soft, nutrient-dense, and packed with oats, chia, and flax seed to keep little bellies full and happy.
โFrom a pediatric OT perspective baking together is a fantastic way to work on sensory exposure and motor planning. Having your toddler help pour ingredients or slice blueberries with a child-safe knife builds bilateral coordination and tactile tolerance in a fun way!
โ
*Cutting blueberries in half is an essential step to reduce choking hazards for young eaters & they are also perfect to help develop their pincer grasp.
