Baking so many cookies you literally have nowhere left to store them and your kitchen counters are covered in cookies so you can't do anything without running into cookies and you just can't wait for Christmas to be over so you never have to look at these cookies ever again at least until next year when you've forgotten about all this and do it all over again.

The memory of my sister’s baby shower popped up in my Google Photos today and I realized I never posted these!

This might just be my favorite cookie set ever — partly because of the theme (obviously 🪄), and mostly because of who it was for 🩵👶🏻🩵. The whole shower was straight outta Hogwarts. From Butterbeer and mimoooooosas (not mimosaaaaas), to potted mandrake cupcakes, sock hunts for Dobby, and pin-the-nose-on-Voldy, it was pure magic from start to finish! I don't wanna toot my own horn, but this witch can plan a party 😆

I haven’t had much time to bake lately, so it felt really good to get back into the kitchen this weekend! 🍪 💕 This is the second recipe from the sandwich cookie cookbook I’m working through — peanut butter cookies with peanut butter mousse and chocolate ganache 🤤

I couldn't make myself wait long enough for the cookies to completely cool before I filled them, so they're extra melty and messy, but still 10/10.

(BTW, the cookbook is called "Stuffed: the Sandwich Cookie Book". Highly recommend.)
