Since December, life has been nonstop. Teaching 8th graders by day, mom/wife life, and cookies & cakes every single night. I honestly can’t remember the last full weekend I had off.

So of course, the first weekend I finally slow down, my youngest gets a stomach bug 🤪 Thankfully my husband has been the real MVP and let me “help” by sleeping half the weekend away too 😂

After an embarrassing amount of naps, I’m officially feeling human again… and June & July are now open for booking! 🎂🍪

The hand placed sprinkles one by one… hand painting the silver details across the top… mixing just the right shades of color… piping every swirl and snowflake with sore hands and crossed fingers hoping it all comes together exactly how I pictured it.

And behind every finished cake? Bowls everywhere, icing-covered spatulas, piping tips soaking in the sink, counters covered in powdered sugar, and somehow… always more dishes waiting. 😂

It’s messy, time consuming, and a whole lot of work, but seeing a design come to life from a plain cake to this makes every late night worth it. ❄️

⭐️ A little business/life update because theres a real person and busy mama behind JessiCakes! ⬇️

As my business has continued to grow, I’ve realized it’s time to make a few changes moving forward. 💕

Over the years, JessiCakes has become more than I ever imagined, and I am SO thankful for every order, share, recommendation, and customer who trusts me with their special moments.

With that growth, I’ve also realized how important it is to create better balance for my family, protect my time, and continue giving each order the attention and detail it deserves. Because of that, I will be restructuring my pricing and order availability starting June 1st. Don’t worry, if you have an order placed already this doesn’t affect you!

My goal is not to take on more orders… it’s to create higher quality work, spend more time on details, and provide the best experience possible for my customers while also protecting time with my family while my babies are still so little. 💕

Thank you all for supporting this little business and allowing me to do what I love. I truly appreciate every single one of you! 🎂
